Not one, but two, shooting stars fell that night.

It was one of those rare times when the moon simply hadn't shown itself, as if it wished to hide away from the world whose orbit it was trapped within, to stay in the shadows and let the world wallow in darkness instead of offering its soft glow; only the stars twinkling in the far reaches of space and little bioluminescent plants gave off light.

That was until the two unidentified objects came plummeting to the surface, brightening the night sky so brightly that it almost seemed like midday for a few seconds, before the intense light vanished upon a tremendous impact that shook the earth and caused the water of the nearby lake to splash about like someone had shaken it as easily as shaking a bowl.

"Ugh, that was... Unexpected." A male voice groaned from within one of the craters that, for the moment, still had glowing chunks of dirt from the intense heat caused by the high-speed impact. "Oi, Zi, you should check this out..." He doesn't seem to sound concerned for his sister's wellbeing, knowing that if he'd come out of the journey fairly unscathed than she would have too. Rather, he sounds more in awe as he makes his way out of his crater to look out at the strange little world they'd landed on.

They'd been drawn here upon entering the universe of which it was part, never before having encountered a universe that they had not created, let alone one that had teeming life! They had to check it out, see what was going on here, and perhaps uncover how the world came to be.

Nezima poked her head out of the crater, hair falling down her face, she was a mess. Letting out a huff she dragged herself up and out of the crater they had left behind. Giving her brother a glance as he spoke. This was interesting, more interesting on the fact neither of them know how this place came to be. "That’s pretty." Giving her body a stretch. She felt weak in this body, gravity pulling at her she wasn’t the biggest fan of this.

Ears quickly picked up the sound of life that surrounded them. Her mind piecing this place together. Well now, this could turn out to be quite fun. A grin taking place on her lips. "Now you’re sure you didn’t create this place. Cause you can totally take credit. Be about the best thing you ever did."

Looking around this strange new world her legs began to move as she circled slowly, her eyes shot above to the sky. "Look what they see from here." That was weird. Everything so far away, little dots in the black never ending universe above. Eyes shot back to the world they stood on. Well, there was no use just standing here. They were little tiny creatures on this vast world now, they had slot to see, and hopefully won’t fuck things up too much.

Despite the snark in Nezima's comment, Lucent was actually fairly awestruck by the world he saw. When they'd entered this universe to escape the black hole catastrophy they'd caused eons away, they didn't know what to expect. All they knew is that neither of them had made this place, and that at least one of the planets within this particular system was teeming with life.

More often than his sister, Lucent could at least take time to appreciate how something was created. But, there would be plenty of time for that, considering how intrigued they were about this place and neither of them was likely to leave until they were satisfied with all the answers.

"And it's still better than anything you've ever made." He finally slides his half-hearted remark back at her as he begins to walk, only his legs feel like they weigh a tonne whilst also being made out of jelly. Yet, he managed to stay standing, keeping his balance only barely as he adjusts to the change in his centre of gravity.

Nezima says something again that, for a moment, he doesn't pay attention to as he passes it off as another snide remark. However, it quickly registers in his head that it wasn't, and he looks up at the night sky. "I don't recognise anything from here, do you?" He's doubtful, but asks anyway, before he sighes and walks around the edges of their craters to walk by his sister's side. "Hey, Zi, try not to blow shit up this time, huh?" He grins, teasingly; they may fight like cats and dogs, but he wouldn't trade her for anything.

Though she refused to admit it, nor comment on it, it was awfully interesting, and quite beautiful. Whoever made it must be one hell of a being. She would smirk to herself. Slowly moving about, her body adjusting to the gravity in what seemed like forever. Spending her entire existence up there, it wasn’t really physically labor. She slightly despised this. Scoffing at her brothers words, she rolled her eyes. "Oh my celestial god. I think I saw my brain. I didn’t know one could roll their eyes so hard."

The pair stood fixated on the endless void above them, probably lucky no one else had come around yet. Looking like total loons. Squinting her eyes, she was trying to find anything that looked familiar up there. ’’Yes. No. I destroyed that. Nope I don’t see anything that we have made. That’s odd.’’ Nezima for once was dumbfounded. Considering just a few seconds ago, they believed they had created everything out there.

Glancing back to her brother, she wanted to make a snide remark. Blowing things up was fun though. Besides, someone here was bound to male her boil over. She could go supernova again. That’s always fun. Though she had never done it while on a planet before. Nezima simply nodded. "Well let’s go sight see, sure there’s some fun things around here. If not we can leave." Her legs moved into a trot. This was fun, finally getting the hang of this. Something tickled though. In her nose. Suddenly a blow from her nose, a huge sneeze, taking her by sudden surprise stardust flying from her nostrils. she landed back on her rump. "That’s new." Eyes shifted to her brother.

"Oh, I didn't actually think you had one in there!" Lucent retorts with a smirk, "Goes to show, miracles do happen! Halleluja." He laughs teasingly, knowing that no matter how much they bickered at each other, that they'd always be together and - though neither would actually outright say it - always love each other.

It felt so strange to be in a place that they didn't even vaguely recognise, unsettling, even.

He expects another rude comment from his sister, but it doesn't come, and he's simultaneously disappointed and impressed. For now, it's probably best they argue as little as possible, at least until they can figure out what's here and what they can and can't do in these smaller forms so limited by the planet's gravity. It certainly is uncomfortable, to say the least.

Lucent joins her pace as they leave their impact craters behind, though he does wonder... Can they leave? This gravity was pretty damn strong given how weird it made his legs feel, and whilst he was sure they'd get used to the feeling, it made him wonder how they would actually leave. It wasn't like they could just float back out of the atmosphere. Hmm, food for thought.

"Whoa," He snorts a little laugh as he watches the stardust settle back down again before he steps closer and decides to blow air on her. Sure enough, with a strong enough blow, little flecks of stardust stir around. "That is so weird... And actually kinda cool." He grins as he steps back, and then to test it out on himself, he gives a full-body shake like a dog. Unsurprisingly, his whole body emits a glittering glow as a cloud of stardust bursts into the air around him.

"Huh... That made me feel... Lighter?" A frown of curiosity crosses his features, and he looks back at Nezima, "I have an idea, but we're going to need something small and alive..." He hadn't seen anything here yet except for themselves, but he was determined to find one to see if his little theory could be proven.

Giving a shake of her head she ignored her brothers early comeback. it was a good one though she wouldn’t admit it of course. Last thing she needed was him to get ahead of himself or think he’s smart in any way. She laughed in her own head, leaving her expression blank. Never ever would she admit that she needed him, completely lost if she didn’t have him.

She shot him a frown fallowed by a grunt as he snorted at her. Uhgg what the hell was that. She exploded from her nose! Quickly she pulled herself up and attempted to brush herself off, rubbing her nose with her knee. ”Kind of cool? I just blew stardust out of my nose, who knows how much is left.” She snorted. She had been messing up the galaxy with this stuff for...well forever.

”Wow, glad to see you still have those” haha she was funny. Though she was curious as to what his bright idea. Shrugging her shoulder she fallowed close behind him. Well...was he going to tell her. Her eyes rolled as she pouted.

It honestly looked rather ridiculous to Lucent, how she rubbed her nose against her knee. But he barely smiled as he rolled his eyes to her comment, “Idiot, we’re made of the stuff, ” he shakes his head dismissively and moves away from her, though he does shoot a glance over his shoulder at her ‘hilarious’ comment.

“One of us has to and it sure as the void ain’t gonna be you.” He mumbled as he turned his head away, not caring how audible he was. He just wanted to find a creature small enough to test his theory out on, to see if he could make it float as if it would in zero gravity. If so, it opened up some further possibilities.

And, no, he wasn’t going to tell her. Not yet, anyway. But that was hardly a surprise and he knew damned well that she would do the same to him. Seriously, it was like she didn’t know him?!

As he walked through the grass his steps clearly startled something. Whatever it was, it was fast but small. “There!” He tossed his head in the critter’s direction and whatever it was, froze. Walking over to it briskly, clearly intrigued, Lucent looked down at the fuzzy creature with a curious expression. It was a small bundle of brownish fur, four tiny legs and feet, and long ears atop its head.

With a hum of consideration, he lowers his nose to the rabbit and blows stardust on it. Not too much, at first, wanting to take it steady to ensure this didn’t backfire. Blue eyes watch carefully as, at first, nothing seems to happen except making the fur move as if by a breeze. So, he blows a little more. The rabbit twitches a little, giving out a soft squeak that makes him take a step back in surprise at the funny sound, but he watches with a growing grin as the small body begins to lift just a bit off the ground until its hovering just a few centimetres.

“Well now,” Lucent tosses a glance over at his sister at the discovery his theory of being able to use stardust to make things float was right on the mark, “This’ll make things a little more fun.”
